The legal minimum age for gambling in Netherlands is 18. Nothing here is aimed at anyone below it, and no operator may lawfully accept an underage account.

Why most players lose

It is not bad luck — it is the margin priced into every market. Experience does not cancel it and neither does any system sold as though it could. Bet only what you can lose without consequence.

Spending beyond what you meant to, chasing losses, borrowing to bet, hiding it, thinking about it constantly. If you recognise one of these, that is already reason enough to stop and look at the rest.

Before you start

Fix the amount first and keep it apart from money with a job to do. Licensed platforms must give you deposit limits, time-outs and a way to exclude yourself — which is part of why the licence is worth checking.
