How the numbers are made

This page explains where the numbers on this site come from and how old they are allowed to be. Everything you see was fetched at build time and written into the page, so what a search engine reads and what you read are the same thing — but it also means each page has an age, and we state it rather than hiding it.

How a number gets here

On a schedule we read the sources above and rebuild every page from that snapshot. Nothing is fetched by your browser, for two reasons: a page that loads its numbers afterwards is blank to a crawler, and calling a public endpoint once per visitor exhausts the rate limit quickly. The consequence — a page is only as fresh as its last build — is why every block is stamped with its collection time.

What the stale marker means

When a snapshot is older than the window in the table, the block is marked as out of date instead of being quietly shown as current. A crypto price from three hours ago is not a price, it is a historical figure, and presenting it without a date would make the page look more reliable than it is.

What is never adjusted

We do not smooth figures, round them up, or re-order anything so a number looks better. Percentage moves are the source's 24-hour numbers as published. Prediction-market odds are the market's own implied probabilities rather than our forecast — 60% on the leader is exactly that uncertain. The sentiment index rates the whole market from outside and tells you nothing about one token.

Where the money comes from

We are paid a commission when someone signs up through a link here. Nothing above changes because of it: public sources, numbers copied as they arrive, and no input from the platform we link to on what any table shows.
